Makayla brings over 10 years of dental front office experience, most recently working for a KOIS trained dentist. She plays a vital role in clearly explaining the clinical and financial aspects of treatment plans to make sure every patient has a customized financial plan that fits their unique needs and situation.
As a proud member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM), she has completed numerous continuing education courses focused on customer service, treatment planning, insurance billing, benefits optimization, Invisalign, and overall dental operations.
She genuinely enjoys building personal connections with each patient and is known for being a strong advocate when navigating the complexities of insurance. While she’s tenacious and detail-oriented in her work, both patients and the team love her sharp wit and sense of humor.
Outside the office, Makayla enjoys spending time with her golden retriever puppy, River, and going on outdoor adventures with her husband. In April 2025, they welcomed their baby girl, Lillia, into the world.
